A Steep Hillside Gives Way to a Modern and Private Patio

This project was a collaboration between Phronesis (design and fence), Mussleman & Hall (concrete), Machine Head (corten), and K² Landscapes (landscaping and hardscape). After remodeling the house, the homeowner wanted the front yard to reflect the house. The design included a new paver patio with a Ipe wood fence to hide the retaining wall, a corten rain garden planter, and low maintenance plants.
