Good Design Equals No More Stormwater Problems

The homeowners had tried tackling their yard themselves, but were having no success. The homeowners were trying to improve the curb appeal of their house and fix stormwater issues that were in the yard. The design includes mix of native and naturalize plants that added color and framed views. Rain gardens and regrading of the yard have solved the stormwater issues. A rock rain garden was chosen in the backyard to prevent the homeowners’ dogs from getting into the garden and getting muddy during rain events.
Since putting in the rock rain garden, the homeowner has not had any issues with standing water.
