Stairway to Stone Walls

The neighborhood wanted to provide a better user experience for its community when traveling up/down the stairs. The solution was a series of native stone retaining walls that would create small planting beds along the stairway. These newly creating planting bed areas are filled with native/low maintenance plants that provide color/interest. At the top of the stairs, roses line the cliff edge to provide a colorful safety barrier.
